Steve Lang
Director, Motiv8 Training and Motiv8 Promotions
Steve Lang established Motiv8 Training along with his business partner David Taylor in 1999. Since then it has grown to be considered one of Europe’s leading learning and development suppliers. With a highly skilled team of associates and partners Motiv8 continue to develop interactive and motivational learning programmes tailored to their customers requirements

In 2013 Steve and David launched an additional company – Motiv8 promotions, an elite staffing agency which provides event management and support.

To date, Steve has delivered training in over 30 countries around the world. He has a genuine passion for learning, in particular the appreciation of the ‘art’ of encouraging participants to engage and enjoy the learning experience to produce motivating results that are talked about for years to come.

Talat Riaz

Senior Training & Development Specialist, Raytheon Professional Services

Talat Riaz is a training and development specialist and lead programmer for RPS EMEA, With over 18 years of industry experience in training, facilitation, process analysis and courseware design and development for all training mediums, Talat is focused on developing best in class and innovative training solutions for RPS' international customers.

He is a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist, certified analyst and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and is based in Milton Keynes.

Jesper Lillelund

Jesper Lillelund has been engaged in building valuable business networks on the international scene for over 15 years. Jesper combines his in-depth industry knowledge, access to a wide network of business leaders, and market development skills focusing on making business transformation and corporate excellence part of the business agenda.

Prior to co-founding CorporateLeaders, Jesper was instrumental in building a leading independent business transformation association from an informal business community to a global player. He also served as the Marketing Director at The Wall Street Journal Europe where he was responsible for managing brand, direct and on-line marketing. In his career at the Journal Europe, Jesper was also responsible for developing new revenue generating businesses. This included launching The Wall Street Journal Europe’s conference operations starting with the highly sought after European CEO Summits to the regional Central European Economic Review conferences. Prior to the Journal Europe, Jesper held market analyst roles at MAN B&W Diesel and Danisco in Denmark.

Jesper holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas and a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University in Texas

Jane Massy

CEO, abdi

Jane is the UK’s leading expert on the Human Capital and Capacity Building investment measurement and evaluation. She led the development of the UK’s first formally recognised suite of professional qualifications in measuring performance and impact outcomes and ROI and today still teaches the higher levels (ROI Evaluator Award and Practitioner Certificate). More recently, she has led the development of the first UK Post graduate Certificate in Performance and Impact Measurement accredited by the University of Derby Corporate and from September 2012 teaches this Post Graduate Certificate as an Associate lecturer of the University of Derby.

Before establishing abdi, Jane worked as an independent evaluator working for DWP, DfES, the European Commission, she was also the lead evaluator for Leonardo da Vinci on all technology supported learning projects, today she continues to evaluate RTD projects for the EC.

She has also worked for many private and public organisations as an evaluator and coach in monitoring and evaluating a wide variety of change and improvement projects and programmes, including NHS, British Council, VW, BT, Barclays, ets.

Published extensively on e-learning, workforce development, evaluation of human capital programmes and projects, etc.

Jonny Gifford
Research Advisor, CIPD
Jonny is a research adviser at the CIPD, specialising in employee engagement, employment relations and organisational culture. He joined CIPD in 2012, having previously worked as principal researcher at Roffey Park Institute and before that, research fellow at the Institute for Employment Studies (IES). Current interests include social media in the workplace, workplace community / the collective side of employee engagement, and the role HR plays in corporate responsibility. Jonny has an MA in Social Research and Comparative Labour Studies from Warwick University and a BA in Social Anthropology from Sussex University.

Mick Monaghan

Mick is responsible for eLearning of the vehicle manufacture after-market support for Body & Paint Programmes, Training, and Technician Development, covering all aspects of the refinish repair process for Axalta Coating Systems (formerly DuPont Performance Coatings). Mick led the concept, development and implementation of the first refinish distance learning tool for paint technicians of all levels. This very comprehensive tool has 10 languages, full voice over stream, video content, animation and, has both progressive testing along with final testing and certification. This major investment in education is designed to improve user know-how and lower the cost of training and education while being accessible at any time.

Laura Overton

Managing Director, Towards Maturity

Laura Overton the Managing Director of Towards Maturity – a not for profit benchmark practice that provides independent research to help business deliver improved performance through learning innovation. Her work is based on 25+ years of practical experience looking at learning innovation for business advantage and is backed by her independent research.

Laura established the Towards Maturity Benchmark to help organisations and over the last 10 years, 2000 organisations have used the benchmark to help them establish an effective e-enabled learning culture. She was also one of the first to research directly with learners and runs the Towards Maturity Learner Audit to help L&D understand how staff learn what they need for their jobs.

Laura was the author of ‘Linking Learning To Business’ – one of the first industry benchmark studies with both organisations and learners investigating good practices (Jan 04). Since then she has authored over 20 independent reports sharing benchmarks and effective practices to drive performance which are referenced around the globe.

With over 2 decades of experience of implementing learning technologies in the workplace, she works with government policy makers representing employer interests and has contributed to initiatives associated with the UK’s Sector Skills Councils, the European Commission and has sat on the steering groups of a number of UK government learning technology strategy boards.

Laura is a Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) and of the British Institute of Learning and Development and is a popular industry commentator having published over 150 articles and case studies. She sits on the steering committee of Online Educa Berlin and advisory board of ELIG and the LPI. In February 2010, she was awarded the Institute of IT Training’s prestigious Colin Corder Award for services to IT training and she received the inaugural elearning age Special Achievement award at the 2012 elearning awards.

Paul Swinscoe is Director of Sales and Marketing EMEA for Raytheon Professional Services LLC (RPS), a unit of Raytheon Company. RPS is a global leader in training services and outsourcing and delivers powerful benefits and value to its customers. RPS helps businesses meet their critical objectives, by designing, implementing and managing optimized training solutions that align employees, customers and partners with key business goals and mission objectives. In 2011 RPS delivered more than 6.5 million hours of custom training in 27 languages to learners in 95 countries. Headquartered in Dallas, RPS has primary offices in Barcelona, Detroit, Frankfurt, London, Melbourne, Mexico City, Moscow, Shanghai and Singapore.

Paul is responsible for ensuring that Raytheon’s learning solutions meet the needs of customers and potential customers in the Military and Government Segment. He also leads large transformational projects and pursuits in the commercial segment.

Paul’s extensive program management experience spans across the corporate and military learning arena.
He began his career with British Aerospace in the aircraft design office before becoming a pilot with British Airways. In the USA he joined Hughes Flight Simulation rising to Software Engineering Manager, responsible for development of commercial and military flight simulators.

His expertise in creating large scale engineering designs, led to his career transition from engineering manager to program management and subsequently to business development. He was a key contributor to the establishment of the General Motors, Europe, Academy. This highly successful outsource provides extensive training services in over 20 European countries.

Paul has subsequently led several strategic assessments for clients on the future of their learning organizations. Today, he leads RPS’ EMEA Sales and Marketing efforts across EMEA to expand Raytheon’s training presence in defence and commercial markets.

He is a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma™ Specialist.
