The 70-20-10 model for learning and development suggests successful learning is done through three clusters of experience: 70% of learning takes place ‘on the job’ through day-to-day tasks (social learning); 20% of learning comes from drawing on the knowledge of others in the workplace by exposure to coaching, feedback, and networking; and 10% through formal learning interventions (traditionally structured courses and programs).

The 2015 Raytheon Symposium focuses on the new role of learning enablers that enhance the 70-20-10 model through supporting the learning experience in the workspace, helping people work smarter, and using new and innovative channels, technologies and methods.

At this exclusive invitation-only meeting, executives will gain insights into how companies can best embed social learning using some of the latest strategies and technologies to ensure key personnel are learning in the most productive way, and that “real” learning takes place and endures. The meeting is based on presentations built around group discussions and exercises.

The event ends with an exclusive networking lunch for further sharing of lessons learned and experiences.
