Andy Lancaster

Head of Learning and Development, CIPD
Andy Lancaster has more than 25 years experience in learning and organisational development in commercial, technological and not-for-profit organisations and has also worked in a consultancy role.

In January, 2014 Andy was appointed as Head of Learning and Development at CIPD to run the Institute’s training arm which delivers training to over 6,000 delegates each year through public and in house courses and over 20 qualification programmes. Andy also plays a key role to support the direction and delivery of CIPD’s wider new vision for L&D.

Andy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and a Member of the Learning and Performance Institute (MLPI).

Jesper Lillelund

Jesper Lillelund has been engaged in building valuable business networks on the international scene for over 15 years. Jesper combines his in-depth industry knowledge, access to a wide network of business leaders, and market development skills focusing on making business transformation and corporate excellence part of the business agenda.

Prior to co-founding CorporateLeaders, Jesper was instrumental in building a leading independent business transformation association from an informal business community to a global player. He also served as the Marketing Director at The Wall Street Journal Europe where he was responsible for managing brand, direct and on-line marketing. In his career at the Journal Europe, Jesper was also responsible for developing new revenue generating businesses. This included launching The Wall Street Journal Europe’s conference operations starting with the highly sought after European CEO Summits to the regional Central European Economic Review conferences. Prior to the Journal Europe, Jesper held market analyst roles at MAN B&W Diesel and Danisco in Denmark.

Jesper holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas and a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University in Texas.

Talat Riaz

Talat Riaz is a training and development specialist and lead programmer for RPS EMEA, With over 18 years of industry experience in training, facilitation, process analysis and courseware design and development for all training mediums, Talat is focused on developing best in class and innovative training solutions for RPS' international customers.

He is a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist, certified analyst and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and is based in Milton Keynes.

Piet-Jan Van Gerwen

Piet-Jan Van Gerwen is EMEA Director of Business Development Commercial Segment for Raytheon Professional Services LLC (RPS). He is responsible for expanding RPS’ business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Piet-Jan has spent the last 25 years in the learning industry leading various areas of the training value chain, including learning design and development, training operations and learning technology.
 


Robert Ward

Robert Ward has 30 years’ experience of working within the software IT industry and 20 of those years within the learning management market. Bob has worked in senior sales and product related positions for companies such as Global Knowledge, Learn.com, Taleo, SuccessFactors and SAP. His background covers not only the UK market but also the US, Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, The Middle East and Africa. He has seen the learning market grow from its early beginnings of simple eLearning delivery and management of classroom training schedules to what it is now, a fundamental process within the HR and employee lifecycle a blend of formal and informal collaborative based knowledge transfer delivering knowledge to employees at the point of need.

Marnie Threapleton is an experienced senior professional with over 25 years experience of personally starting up & developing businesses in the UK, USA & overseas, serving blue chip clients.

Marnie is passionate about aligning business strategy to performance utilizing learning technologies. She has an in-depth understanding of the many issues, challenges, solutions and cultural differences to managing business in the UK and working with global organisations.

Her goal is to share these skills and her experience by working with organisations to direct and manage business change and deliver results.

Alastair Woods
Director, PwC
Alastair is a Director in PwC's HR Consulting business, focussed on the apex of performance and reward. He works with multinational organisations (mainly industrial and energy companies) in addressing challenges in their reward strategy and linking this to the business goals, organisational culture and the employment value offering.  

He is fascinated by the generational challenges facing organisations today and firmly believes the one size fits all approach to reward and performance management is going to have to change. He is also spending a lot of time thinking about an alternative term for "performance management".
