Claudia Bremer

Managing Director, Digital Studies, Center for eLearning, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main

Claudia Bremer is the managing director of the e-learning center at the Goethe-University Frankfurt. Since 1999 she develops e-learning programs and scenarios for universities, schools, companies and other types of institutions. Recently, she is also involved in the development of qualification frameworks for teachers and trainers. As part of her activities in studiumdigitale, she coordinates media production processes for e-learning content and accompanies companies and educational institutions in organizational development processes aiming at the introduction and diffusion of e-learning. In 2011, she offered one of the first German Massive open online courses and this year she ran an online course on ‘Web 2.0 Technologies in Teaching and Learning’. Her fields of research lie in the areas of co-operative and collaborative knowledge generation, media competency of teachers and trainers, e-learning quality issues and organization development. She is involved in many online courses, is invited as a guest speaker at conferences and is author and publisher of books and articles on the field of e-learning.

Tim Cornish
Learning and Development Manager, Kia Motors Europe
Tim Cornish has over 20 years experience within education and business, with proven results for both BMW and Mercedes-Benz on all continents. He has extensive knowledge of using EFQM (European Framework for Quality Management) to improve business performance, particularly in the area of dealer development, and thorough knowledge of new learning technologies, curriculum design, needs analysis, and job profiling across global markets.

For the last four years he has been involved in the development and implementation of management training programs for Mercedes-Benz Global Training in Stuttgart, across Sales and Aftersales management disciplines (including Dealer Principal level) as well as OEM District Managers providing vast international knowledge of the markets. With both BMW and Mercedes he has also had global experience of providing dealer consultancy and improvement measures in over 30 countries, across sales and aftersales (service and parts) areas.

In his current role with Kia Europe, Tim defines L&D direction and strategy for Kia Motors Europe, consisting of 14 NSC's and 15 distributor markets; ensures that the Kia Academy offers a class leading program providing a high level of professionalism for all dealer employees; works closely with all stakeholders to strive for quality improvements in the L&D process, cost efficiencies, optimization of ROI and the utilization of relevant learning technologies and supporting systems/processes; selects and manages specialist suppliers; and creates, implements and manages a Training Quality Assurance program, a Salesmen Acquisition program, and Field Force training curriculum across relevant markets.


Tuty Hady
Product Sales Manager, SuccessFactors, an SAP Company
Tuty Hady is Product Sales Manager for learning products in the regions of Middle-, Eastern- and Southern Europe at SuccessFactors, an SAP Company. She has more than 18 years of experience working within the software IT industry and 16 of those years within learning and talent management where she has a comprehensive expertise. Tuty joined SuccessFactors in 2011 with the acquisition of Plateau Systems. Previously, she has held various functions in the environment sector as a Project Manager, EMEA Pre-Sales Management and Account Manager in direct and partner sales. 

Duncan Hawthorne
Executive Reward Consultant, PwC

Duncan has been with PwC for over four years. He works with clients exploring the links between reward and performance and led a detailed piece of research during 2014 exploring the future of performance management and the links between engagement and development. He is also fascinated by the role of technology as the interface between HR and employees, and believes this is critical to organisational success. He works primarily in the industrial sector but with specific experience of pharmaceuticals and media companies.

Jesper Lillelund

Jesper combines his in-depth industry knowledge, access to a wide network of business leaders, and market development skills focusing on making business transformation and corporate excellence part of the business agenda.

Prior to co-founding CorporateLeaders, Jesper was instrumental in building a leading independent business transformation association from an informal business community to a global player. He also served as the Marketing Director at The Wall Street Journal Europe where he was responsible for managing brand, direct and on-line marketing. In his career at the Journal Europe, Jesper was also responsible for developing new revenue generating businesses. This included launching The Wall Street Journal Europe’s conference operations starting with the highly sought after European CEO Summits to the regional Central European Economic Review conferences. Prior to the Journal Europe, Jesper held market analyst roles at MAN B&W Diesel and Danisco in Denmark.

Jesper holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas and a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University in Texas.


Talat Riaz

Senior Training & Development Specialist, Raytheon Professional Services

Talat Riaz is a training and development specialist and lead programmer for RPS EMEA, With over 18 years of industry experience in training, facilitation, process analysis and courseware design and development for all training mediums, Talat is focused on developing best in class and innovative training solutions for RPS' international customers.

He is a qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist, certified analyst and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and is based in Milton Keynes.


Piet-Jan Van Gerwen
Director Business Development, Raytheon Professional Services
Piet-Jan Van Gerwen is EMEA Director of Business Development Commercial Segment for Raytheon Professional Services LLC (RPS). He is responsible for expanding RPS’ business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Piet-Jan has spent the last 25 years in the learning industry leading various areas of the training value chain, including learning design and development, training operations and learning technology.
