Nordic Region Outsourcing Service Provider Performance Study 2008

For the second consecutive year, EquaTerra has conducted an in-depth investigation of the market for outsourcing services in the Nordic region, encompassing Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. We survey executives responsible for managing contracts with their outsourced service suppliers on their opinions of their providers’ performance and wider outsourcing trends. The results of the 2008 Nordic outsourcing study confirm that the use of outsourcing is continuing to increase in this market. Other key findings include growing use of outsourcing as a way to overcome skills shortages and improve quality, while objectives such as cost reduction remain important.
