Carina Smith is Head of Business Process Outsourcing Business Development in Europe, with responsibility for a region in the fastest growing area of the Capgemini Group.
Carina Smith has been responsible for closing several recent ground breaking deals in the BPO sector including F&A projects at NXP, TetraPak, SKF, Syngenta, Danfoss, ZFS and Stora Enso. She is recognised as an innovator with a strong track record in realising value from strategic partnerships and has grown the Capgemini BPO portfolio by 300% in 2 years.

Prior to joining Capgemini, Carina Smith worked in sales and general management for Xansa, EDS and Sema in roles spanning BPO, IT Outsourcing and new business start ups. Carina is a German national, multi-lingual and has previously managed German and Spanish businesses.

Through his various functional and administrative positions Karsten possess significant and comprehensive experiences in end-to-end business processes, sales management, strategic analysis, organizational revitalization, project management, business transformation, people supervision and coaching.

Karsten holds a Master of Science degree in business administration and management science and a Bachelor degree in the same field. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in The Balanced Scorecard, EFQM - European Foundation for Quality Management and TQM.

Frank Wolfsteiner
Partner & Managing Director CHRO and CFO Services EMEA, TPI
Mr. Wolfsteiner, Partner & Managing Director of TPI's CHRO and CFO Services EMEA, brings an extensive background in systems and process design as well as marketing, with particular focus on business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology (IT). His expertise spans all areas of human resources (HR) systems and business processes, outsourcing and offshoring. Frank has in-depth knowledge and experience in leading business process redesign and enterprise resource planning implementations for large multinational organizations along with focused, fast-tracked systems implementations.

Prior to joining TPI, Frank worked for the Trestle Group as global partner supporting clients to achieve optimal offshoring and outsourcing solutions. He held several leadership positions in Deloitte’s global outsourcing advisory and delivery team and built and operated Deloitte’s India offshore centre in Hyderabad. His earlier experience included assignments as leader of the SAP Human Resources practice for Ernst & Young in London; IT Applications Manager for Gillette/Braun in the United States and Germany; and Manager of Software Development Europe and North America for TimeLink.

Frank holds a computer science degree from Universitat Stuttgart.
