Alessandro Centrone

Vice President Marketing EMEA, Steelcase

As Vice President of Marketing – EMEA, Alessandro Centrone translates customer needs, trends and insights into products and solutions that make up Steelcase’s comprehensive product portfolio. He orchestrates the efforts of a diverse team of professionals that seek input from the market and actively gathers feedback and ideas from customers, designers and dealer partners.

Alessandro joined Steelcase in 2012 as VP of Sales to lead a diverse and multidisciplinary team of workplace specialists that support the needs of leading organisations, influencers and dealers across markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Alessandro is currently based in Munich, home of Steelcase’s Learning and Innovation Center.

Before joining Steelcase, Alessandro held multiple leadership roles. He led the Italian subsidiary at an international manufacturer of office furniture for six years. Prior to that, he developed a solid business acumen and experience by holding positions such as Head of Sourcing and Head of Global Accounts Sales at Renault (Italy) between 2002 and 2006. From 1999 to 2002, Alessandro was a senior consultant for the North American practice of Arthur Andersen where he worked with clients in various industries. During his consulting career, he focused on finance re-engineering and strategic sourcing projects.

Alessandro holds a degree in finance from Università Bocconi in Milan (Italy) and an MBA from the University of Nebraska in Omaha (USA). There, he also worked as a graduate teaching assistant throughout his master’s degree. With a dual American and Italian citizenship, Alessandro is fluent in English and Italian, as well as conversational in French and Spanish.

Jesper Lillelund

Jesper Lillelund has been engaged in building valuable business networks on the international scene for over 20 years. Jesper combines his in-depth industry knowledge, access to a wide network of business leaders, and market development skills focusing on making business transformation and corporate excellence part of the business agenda.

Prior to co-founding CorporateLeaders, Jesper was instrumental in building a leading independent business transformation association from an informal business community to a global player. He also served as the Marketing Director at The Wall Street Journal Europe where he was responsible for managing brand, direct and on-line marketing. In his career at the Journal Europe, Jesper was also responsible for developing new revenue generating businesses. This included launching The Wall Street Journal Europe’s conference operations starting with the highly sought after European CEO Summits to the regional Central European Economic Review conferences. Prior to the Journal Europe, Jesper held market analyst roles at MAN B&W Diesel and Danisco in Denmark.

Jesper holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas and a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University in Texas.

Joseph Press
Global Innovator & Strategic Advisor, Center for Creative Leadership

Dr. Joseph Press brings over 16 years experience as an innovation and digital transformation consultant. As the Director of Deloitte Digital Switzerland, he worked with global clients on digital transformation and innovation initiatives to achieve business results and accelerate organizational evolution. He was also responsible for designing the Deloitte Switzerland Greenhouse, an innovation space for exploring business challenges with clients.

Prior to his business consulting career, Joseph practiced as an architect and designer in the USA, Germany, France and Israel, focusing on a range of public and private projects. Most notably, he led the workplace design of the headquarters of AOL Time Warner in Paris, France.

Current Role
Joseph is the Global Innovator & Strategic Advisor to the Center for Creative Leadership©’s President and CEO. Collaborating with leadership across CCL© globally, he champions innovation, digital transformation and creative leadership with our clients, in support of delivering engaging and innovative experiences that accelerate personal and organizational impact. As an experienced business consultant and passionate digital innovator, he is deeply committed to co-creating meaningful experiences that transform people, organizations and society.

Joseph’s creative mindset helps unleash client creativity to co-design innovative business models, products, and services in design thinking-inspired workshops. With over five years of online teaching experience, he also designs and delivers high-impact developmental experiences in synchronous and asynchronous virtual environments.

Educational Background
Joseph completed a B.S. in Managerial Economics with a minor in Architecture at Carnegie Mellon. He completed a SM in Architectural Studies and Ph.D. in Design Technology at MIT. His Master’s thesis focused on pedagogies in design education, and this Ph.D. research entitled Building Community, focused on how collaboration, cognition and innovation in the design process build collective understanding.

Joseph is a passionate educator as well. He is a guest lecturer at IMD, Parsons The New School For Design in the Strategic Design & Management Masters Program, and the Design Thinking program at St. Gallen, where he teaches graduate courses on design, digital business models and innovation. He previously held teaching and research positions at MIT, Delft Technical University, and Bezalel Design Academy.

Martin Wilckens
Senior Manager HR Digital & Innovation, Deutsche Telekom AG

Martin Wilckens is Senior Manager, working within Deutsche Telekom’s HR Digital & Innovation department since 2016. In this function he is shaping the strategy towards working in the digital age and is responsible leader for projects driving forward digitisation of HR and collaboration within Deutsche Telekom.

Before, he was Vice President within Deutsche Telekom´s Group Strategy department, responsible for developing the Group Strategy of Deutsche Telekom and driving its implementation.

Before joining Deutsche Telekom Group in 1997 Martin was a Senior Consultant with Intraplan in Munich, specialised on consulting to stakeholders in the area of transportation. Prior to that he served as an Expert for High Speed Railways at the International Union of Railways in Paris, France.

Martin Wilckens holds a degree in economics which he received from the university of Bamberg.
