David Altman

Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Center for Creative Leadership
Experience
David is EVP and MD of CCL-EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Previously, he served for over nine years as EVP of CCL’s Research, Innovation and Product Development group. Prior to CCL, David was a tenured Professor of Public Health Sciences and Pediatrics at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina (10 years) and Senior Research Scientist at the Stanford Center for Research in Disease Prevention at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California (10 years).

Current Role
As EVP and MD of EMEA, David leads a 130 person team of full-time staff and 160 Associates in their work supporting CCL’s mission. He also serves on the 10 person Executive Team of CCL. EMEA has staff through the region and offices in Brussels [HQ]; Moscow, Russia; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; and Johannesburg, South Africa. David is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Public Health Education at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Health Policy at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He serves as co-director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded Executive Nurse Fellows program (www.executivenursefellows.org). David has long supplemented his work in the public health field with a keen interest leadership. At CCL, he has attended the Leadership Development Program (LDP) as a Fellow of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation National Leadership Program, Leading Strategically, Leading Creatively, Developing Leadership Talent, Assessment Certification Workshop, Coaching Certification Workshop, and Leadership at the Peak programs. He currently serves as a faculty member for the Leadership at the Peak program which is offered in Switzerland and Colorado Springs.

Educational Background
David earned his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine where he was selected as Alumni of the year in 2007. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Stanford University.

Publications and Professional Affiliations
David is active in a number of professional associations and is a Fellow of three divisions of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow in the Society of Behavioral Medicine. He is also a member of the American Public Health Association, Council on Epidemiology and Prevention of the American Heart Association, the Society of Public Health Education, and Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research. He serves on a variety of community taskforces and Boards. He has published over 100 journal articles and book chapters and five books.


Christel Berghäll-Högström
Regional Director, Nordics, Center for Creative Leadership

Current Role
Christel wears a couple of hats in the CCL EMEA organization. As the Regional Director she has the business responsibility of the CCL Nordic region which includes Finland, Sweden and Norway. She is also an Executive Coach (PCC), Sr. Team Coach and Sr. Faculty for Leadership Solutions. In that role she designs and delivers individual, team and organizational leadership development interventions & solutions to clients across the EMEA region.

Experience
Christel brings with her 20+ years of experience both from the corporate and entrepreneurial world. She previously worked as a human resources senior executive at Amer Sports Corporation and YIT Corporation and as a Business Director for Center for Creative Leadership Nordics. She has also worked with Nokia Corporation and SAP in strategic HR and communication roles. Her work as a senior executive and management team member in the corporate world has provided her with a good understanding business, organizational dynamics and the mind of an executive in today’s business world. After her corporate career, Christel set up her own business focusing on Executive Coaching, Senior Team Coaching, Facilitation and Organizational Leadership consultancy.
Christel’s expertise lies in coaching senior executives, developing senior teams and developing leadership cultures to drive needed changes to achieve business objectives and implement the strategy. Her career has been international throughout and she has worked and lived in Finland, Germany and China. Her assignments take her all over the world and she is on a regular basis also engaged in leadership development work in Africa. Some examples of industries of clients where she is working are Minerals processing & flow control technology, Communications, IT and Media, Healthcare/Pharma, Government, fast moving Consumer Goods, Government and Non-for-Profit organizations.

Educational Background
Christel holds a Master’s degree in economics (M.Sc. econ.) in international economics. She has completed her Diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching at the Academy of Executive Coaching in London, UK. Christel is a PCC certified coach (Professional Certified Coach) by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Christel is fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English and she converses in French.


Jasmine De Clerck
Regional Director, Center for Creative Leadership

Experience
Jasmine De Clerck is CCL’s Regional Director for the French, Dutch and Danish speaking region of Europe, responsible for the Development of CCL’s Customized Business Line. Her experience includes advising leading multinationals on how to develop and implement their Leadership and Talent Development Strategy globally.

As an Executive Coach, Leadership Consultant and Change Agent, Jasmine developed a deep understanding of how Executives deal with Change and Transition. At CCL, Jasmine launched and is chairing a Network Community focused on how we – as individual leaders, companies and networks - can deal with Disruption (Technology, Climate, Energy and Demographics).

Her experience includes leading large scale outsourcing and transformation projects in industry, and headhunting talent to lead these initiatives. Jasmine lived and worked on four continents : South Africa, India, the United States and Europe ; and worked in international roles since 1999. Her experience includes advising a Fortune 500 company on their HR Transformation Strategy and guiding a leading life sciences company through their outsourcing assessment towards India.

Current Role
Besides her role as Regional Director, Jasmine works as Feedback Coach on Open Enrolment and Custom programs.

Educational Background
Jasmine holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics & International Management, is a NLP-Practitioner, ICF-accredited coach and is certified in various psychometric instruments, assessment tools, methodologies and models. Jasmine is currently working on a Specialization in Organizational Leadership at NorthWestern University.

Alexander Krujatz
General Manager, Sandoz Nordics

Alexander is the Managing Director for Sandoz A/S and General Manager for Sandoz in the Nordic countries including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. With an annual turnover of more than $250 million, Sandoz Nordics is the leading provider of generic and Biosimilar medicine in the Nordics and one of the Top 10 contributors to Sandoz globally. Alexander assumes responsibility for the full range of Nordic operations ranging from Marketing and Sales to Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Alexander is also a permanent member of the Nordics Executive Committee of Novartis, Sandoz’ parent company.

Prior to his current assignment, Alexander gained experience in various commercial roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Sandoz as Head Strategy and Projects for its German operations where he was responsible for leading a large-scale restructuring and transformation initiative to prepare the turnaround for growth. Embarking on a General Management track, he later served as a National Sales Manager working with a team of sales representatives to build the Oncology and Hematology franchise for Sandoz’ Biosimilar unit. To broaden his commercial and functional leadership experience, Alexander assumed the role of Managing Director and General Manager for 1 A Pharma, today Sandoz Germany’s largest business unit in Generics, being accountable for over $400 million in sales and a member of the German Executive Committee.

Alexander started his career in professional services working as a Management Consultant for The Boston Consulting Group, initially based out of Munich and later Stockholm. He worked with multinational clients in various sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, financial services and pharmaceuticals with a focus on growth strategy, post-merger integration, outsourcing and corporate culture. His project assignments exposed him to working with client teams in Germany, US, Brazil, India, Scandinavia and the UK. Alexander holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He lives with his wife and three children in Copenhagen.



Jesper Lillelund

Partner & Co-Founder, CorporateLeaders

Jesper Lillelund has been engaged in building valuable business networks on the international scene for over 15 years. Jesper combines his in-depth industry knowledge, access to a wide network of business leaders, and market development skills focusing on making business transformation and corporate excellence part of the business agenda.

Prior to co-founding CorporateLeaders, Jesper was instrumental in building a leading independent business transformation association from an informal business community to a global player. He also served as the Marketing Director at The Wall Street Journal Europe where he was responsible for managing brand, direct and on-line marketing. In his career at the Journal Europe, Jesper was also responsible for developing new revenue generating businesses. This included launching The Wall Street Journal Europe’s conference operations starting with the highly sought after European CEO Summits to the regional Central European Economic Review conferences. Prior to the Journal Europe, Jesper held market analyst roles at MAN B&W Diesel and Danisco in Denmark.

Jesper holds an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas and a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University in Texas.
